Our Staff

Our dedicated support workers undergo comprehensive training to deliver exceptional care to our clients. They have successfully completed the Care Certificate (Skills for Care), which includes 15 essential standards such as safeguarding vulnerable adults, health and safety, equality and diversity, mental capacity assessments, mental health awareness, and medication management.

In addition to these mandatory qualifications, our team proactively engages in specialised non-mandatory training, including Learning Disability, Autism Awareness, Harm Minimisation, Domestic Violence, Support of women at risk and other tailored programs relevant to our client base.

This commitment to continuous learning ensures that our staff remain equipped with the right skills to meet the unique needs of every individual we support.

At Grit Care, our management promotes a culture of care that values every individual and celebrates their unique identities. We focus on evidence-based models of support centred on each person, promoting independence, their human rights, safety, community integration, and thorough risk assessment by a qualified and supportive team.
