About Grit Care

In 2025, we are excited to launch our 24-hour supported living facility in Surrey, dedicated to individuals with complex care needs. Conveniently located, the facility offers easy access to local shops and activites by public transport such as buses.

At the heart of our approach is a commitment to person-centred care, empowering each individual to prioritise their health and wellbeing. We will ensure that those we support have a voice in their care and actively participate in decisions affecting their lives. In addition, we will involve their families and advocates as part of the decision making process.

Our approach is collaborative, working closely with families, advocates and professionals to achieve the best outcomes. We recognise the distress that complex care needs can bring, and our aim is to provide compassionate support, helping individuals feel safe while respecting their independence.

We will ensure that the staff-to-resident ratio and the availability of support are consistently maintained throughout the day.

We are committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment that meets the unique needs of each individual in our care. We will offer a variety of accommodation options, including individual flats and shared community-based homes for those with similar support care needs. We will ensure that individuals in shared accommodations have the freedom to choose where they live and the option to decide who they live with. Each accommodation will be fully equipped with essential amenities to ensure comfort and convenience.

Grit Care’s main office is located at Suite F10, The Offices Mess, Coldstream Road, Caterham, Surrey CR3 5QX.

Grit Care serves as a haven for adults aged 18- 65 years over.
